Online Therapy for Latter-day Saints in Washington
Therapy for LDS Individuals in Washington
Your faith is an important part of your life—and sometimes a complicated one.
You may love your faith and the community that comes with it while still struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, burnout, or difficult decisions.
Perhaps you feel pressure to serve, give, forgive, and care for others even when you're running out of energy for yourself. Maybe you feel like your life has been mapped out for you, but the path you expected seems uncertain. Or you're struggling with a relationship and feel caught between what you want and what your family or community expects of you.
You may be going through a divorce, supporting a struggling family member, or trying to navigate life when you don't quite fit the mold. You might be wrestling with complicated feelings about your faith or struggling to understand why you're suffering when you feel like you should be doing fine.
Sometimes you may simply wonder, "What am I doing wrong?"
You deserve a therapist who understands the cultural and religious context of your life without making assumptions about what your faith means to you or what choices you should make.

An LDS therapist who understands your world
I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist and an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I provide online therapy to Latter-day Saints and others throughout Washington.
I understand that faith can be deeply intertwined with family, relationships, identity, values, and the decisions you make. I also understand that the culture surrounding your faith can sometimes create pressures that are difficult to navigate.
You shouldn't have to spend your therapy sessions explaining why certain things matter to you—or worrying that your therapist will encourage you to make choices that conflict with your values.
My faith doesn't have to be part of our therapy unless you want it to be. I don’t have judgements about what you should believe, and I don’t assume that I know what is best for you simply because we're part of the same faith.
Instead, I'll meet you where you are and help you understand your own thoughts, feelings, needs, and choices.
Whether you're struggling with relationships, burnout, anxiety, depression, divorce, family challenges, questions about your faith, or simply feeling lost, you can have a place to work through it with someone who understands the world you're navigating.
If you're looking for a therapist who understands both the faith and the culture, I'd love to talk with you.
