Online Therapy for Women in Washington
Therapy for Women in Washington
You can love the people in your life and still feel exhausted by them.
Maybe you've spent years putting everyone else's needs before your own. You're the one who remembers, plans, gives, listens, helps, and keeps everything moving.
But you're running out of yourself.
You may feel frustrated or resentful with your partner or children, then feel guilty for having those feelings. You might want to tell someone how you really feel but become so emotional that you can't get the words out—or you're afraid that speaking up will only create more conflict.
Maybe you've tried to set boundaries but don't know how to do it without feeling selfish. You may feel emotionally dismissed, unimportant, or misunderstood. You might look at your life and wonder, "How did I get here? I don't even feel like myself anymore."
You may be anxious, depressed, unmotivated, or simply exhausted from trying to be everything everyone needs you to be.
Therapy can help you reconnect with yourself while building healthier, more balanced relationships with the people you love.

Therapy with Britney Halversen, LMFT
I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist providing online therapy to women throughout Washington. My work focuses on helping people who feel emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed by the needs of others, or stuck in relationship patterns that leave them feeling disconnected from themselves.
My approach is grounded in attachment-based therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I want to understand not just what you're struggling with, but the patterns underneath it—why you keep putting yourself last, why certain relationships leave you feeling depleted, and what makes it so difficult to ask for what you need.
Therapy with me is compassionate, collaborative, and judgment-free. I won't tell you to simply "set better boundaries" or "take care of yourself." We'll look at what's getting in the way and work toward changes that are realistic for your life.
You don't have to stop caring about everyone else. You just don't have to lose yourself in the process.
